Most tours start from our base in Venecia de San Carlos, Alajuela, in Costa Rica’s Northern Zone. Tours in Sarapiquí and day trips meet at the site or include transport. We send the exact meeting point on WhatsApp after you book.
No. You do not need a driver’s license. Your guide gives a safety briefing before starting, and the routes run on private farms, not public roads.

Rain is normal in the rainforest and most tours run as planned. Waterfall and canyon hikes depend on river levels: if conditions are unsafe, we offer you a new date or a full refund.
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour starts. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before, or no-shows, are not refunded.
Closed shoes or water shoes, quick-dry clothes, a rain jacket, sunscreen, insect repellent and water. For waterfall and canyon tours, wear a swimsuit and pack a change of clothes.
